Our Nickel is Adding Up.

Sandmeyer Steel Company Now Stocking Alloy 200/201 (UNS N02200/N022010) Commercially Pure Wrought Nickel Plate Through 1.00” (25.4mm)

Sandmeyer Steel Company has added Alloy 200/201 (UNS N02200/N02201) commercially pure nickel to one of North America’s largest single-site nickel alloy plate inventory.

The alloys combine good mechanical properties with excellent resistance to many corrosive environments. They are dual-certifiable with the lower carbon 201 preferred for temperatures above 600°F (315°C).

Alloy 200/201 perform best in reducing environments such as caustic soda and other alkalis, but can also be used under oxidizing conditions that produce a passive oxide film.

They are used extensively for missile components, chemical and petrochemical processing, food processing, marine service and water treatment.

Plate thicknesses are available from .1875” (4.8mm) through 1.00” (25.4mm) from your one-stop shop source for value-added plate products.

Earth Day 2018

As part of our mission statement of “Making significant contributions to the communities in which we work and live,” our Sandmeyer Serves team partnered with Friends of Pennypack Park on Saturday April 28th  to help with their Earth Day 2018 clean-up of our community parks and recreation centers. Employees and their families donated their time to clean a portion of the park located in the “Little City” section of Philadelphia.

Pennypack Park was established to insure the protection of Pennypack Creek and the preservation of the surrounding land. The park consists of 1,600 acres of woodlands, meadows, wetlands and fields.

Thanks to the team for your hard work and to the Friends of Pennypack Park for the opportunity to do service!
