GNPCC In-Focus

Sandmeyer Steel Company’s Sandmeyer Serves team recently had the pleasure of returning to Feast of Justice for an evening of dinner and fellowship. On June 13, 2019, we joined them for Community BBQ Night, and, most recently, on September 26, 2019, we joined them for Feast Night.

For each of these events our 22 volunteers served under the direction of Chef Eric. Our volunteers proudly assisted with the preparation of dinner, set the tables, served the guests, washed dishes, packaged the leftover food, restocked the food pantry, cleaned up the kitchen and dining room area, and disposed of the trash.

We are proud of our Sandmeyer Serves volunteers; they were exceptional and received compliments and gratitude from those whom they served. We are already planning our next opportunity to serve.

On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, we will be joining our friends at the Delaware Valley Veterans Home, for a fun night of bingo and ice cream sundaes. We love being able to say thank you to all the courageous men and women who have selflessly served our country. It’s a pleasure to serve those that have sacrificed so much to serve us.

Next month, we will kick off an in-house Canned Foods Drive, during which we will collect food for Feast of Justice to include in the holiday baskets they distribute to the community.
